27/09/11 Fall is here and the album is near!

Right after opening for the Catalyst CD launch last spring, which was amazing, we jumped right back on the proverbial album horse. So after a few months of hard work (special thanks to Chris Donaldson) we nailed all the tracks! Now it's time to mix and master everything which hopefully will be done by Chris(donaldson)tmass. :)
20/02/11 CMW's!

Dush is booked to perform at the Canadian Music Week's "Montreal Metal showcase". We will be opening for Cryptopsy and Beaneath The Massacre and we're also joined on stage by such bands as The Catalyst, Dissension, Disgust, Sykode and Fatality. The show will be at The Opera House in Toronto on March 9th. If you're from the GTA and haven't seen Dush yet this is your chance!

20/01/11 The album is coming!

We're very fortunate and excited to go in the studio to record a full length album that is going to be produced by Christian Donaldson (Cryptopsy, Century Media) this upcoming February. Unfortunately Vlad is not going to join us in this journey and we wish him all the success in his solo career. Furthermore we're extremely happy to be coming back to Foufounes Electriques in April (see Upcoming Shows). This time we will be opening for our friends The Catalyst at their album launch. Such bands as Endast Dissention, Dark Century and Protocol will be joining us on stage. On this note we wish everyone a Happy New Year and see you at the next show!

11/07/10 Showcase in NYC!

We're happy to announce that we're performing at a showcase in New York City called No Mercy Metal Showcase series that will include many local talanted metal acts. This could be a great opportunity to show off what we've got in front of the music industry. Click here for more details

27/04/10 Spring has sprung!

It's show time! It's rare for Dush to play unplugged shows and after a good response from our stint at the show for Women's Shelter at l'Alizé we decided to re-enact it on June 22nd. We've also finally finished recording all of Dush's songs and now you can listen to some of the new songs which were recorded live. Big thumbs up to Dan Legault (sound, drums) and Andrew Sudlow (bass).
Last but not least! Our EP 'Ancient Cities' is soon going to be available for sale on iTunes, Amazon, Napster etc.


14/01/10 Happy lovers day!

Well, after two amazing shows in July and January we're back on track with the serious stuff. The press kit is done and we're on the hunt for those elusive major record labels and we're pretty confident we're going to catch the attention of a couple of eyes and ears in 2010. For those who have been asking us about our next show - we're planning to play another big one sometime in late summer/early fall. Stay tuned for more news! :)

21/03/09 Spring news!

Firstly Dush is proud to anounce that we decided to associate ourselves with a session bassist (Leslie Jank). And of course completing the line up finally allows us to play shows which we're asked about every single day. Well the wait is almost over!
On the smaller scale you can hear us talk about it all this morning starting at 11:30am on http://mohawk-radio.com where we're going to be showing up for an interview and to airplay some songs from 'Ancient Cities'.
Also we're going to schedule a photoshoot soon so come back in a couple of weeks to check out the new pics. (We'll finally show off our new drummer Ray) And on this positive note I'd like to wish everybody a great and refreshing spring and hope to see you all at one of our shows this summer!

02/16/09 Good news, bad news.

It's with sadness that we anounce the departure of our bassist Marcos. But at the same time we're extremely lucky to have a new member joining our ranks. Ray Tessier is our new drummer. Pictures will follow soon!

01/12/08 First things first!

Well folks it's been long awaited but Dush is finally releasing its first EP and its new website.

With that out of the way Dush is set on first and foremost completing its line up by finding a new bassist and of course hitting all the media possible with the new cd.
